Big Apple
Blossoms
This project was created during my Graphic Design I course, where we were given the creative freedom to develop a brand of our choice. The goal of the assignment was to design a full brand identity and present it through a set of brand guidelines and a pitch deck as the final deliverable. I chose to create a floral business based in New York City, developing Big Apple Blooms as a concept that blends the energy of the city with the softness and emotion of floristry.
My goal was to build a brand identity that felt both vibrant and approachable, reflecting the duality of New York—fast-paced and bold, yet filled with moments of beauty and intimacy. In developing the brand, I focused on creating a cohesive visual system through logo design, typography, and color, ensuring that each element worked together to communicate a clear and recognizable identity.
With the final outcome centered around a pitch deck, I also considered how to effectively present and communicate the brand. I approached the project not just as a visual exercise, but as a strategic one—thinking about how brand guidelines establish consistency and how a deck can tell the story of a brand in a clear and compelling way.
Using Adobe Illustrator, I explored how branding extends across multiple touchpoints, from logo applications to supporting materials. This project allowed me to gain a deeper understanding of brand systems, guidelines, and presentation, while creating a concept that merges my interest in design with a lifestyle-driven brand.
