Kia Center Wayfinding
Rebrand

This project was created during my 3D III course as a collaborative assignment to redesign the wayfinding system for a local public space. Working with two classmates, we chose to take on the Kia Center arena in Orlando, Florida—a space we were all familiar with and had personally experienced challenges navigating.

Our goal was to improve the overall user experience by creating a clearer, more intuitive wayfinding system that helps visitors move through the arena with ease. We approached the project by considering how people interact with large, crowded environments, focusing on visibility, hierarchy, and clarity to reduce confusion and improve flow.

Within the group, I contributed to the development of the system and designed several of the visual components showcased here. My work focuses on how information is communicated through signage, layout, and structure, ensuring that the system is both functional and visually cohesive.

This project required us to think beyond individual design pieces and instead develop a comprehensive system that works across a large-scale environment. It strengthened my ability to design for real-world usability, collaborate within a team, and consider how design directly impacts user experience in physical spaces. The work displayed here highlights my individual contributions, while the full project can be viewed on Behance.
