The World of
Sofia Coppola
This project was created during my freshman year for a UI/UX design course, where the prompt was to design a website centered around something we were the “biggest fan” of.
As someone who has always been passionate about film,
I chose to focus on one of my favorite filmmakers, Sofia Coppola. Her films are known for their distinctive visual style, atmospheric storytelling, and themes of isolation, femininity, and quiet introspection.
My goal for the website was to create a space that both celebrates Coppola’s work and reflects the aesthetic qualities that define her films. I designed the interface with a focus on clean navigation and a soft, minimal visual language that mirrors the dreamy, contemplative tone often present in her movies. The project allowed me to explore how UI design can translate the mood and identity of a filmmaker into a digital experience, while also highlighting her filmography and creative influence.
Designed in Figma, this project was an early exploration of how storytelling, film culture, and interface design can intersect.
